This 9 meter bronze was unveiled by president Cyril Ramaphosa at the OR Tambo international airport/Johannesburg on the 27th October 2020-what would’ve been his 103rd birthday. I was lead sculptor with Tania Lee, along with fellow sculptor Lungisa Kala; assisted by Madodana Cita.

This bronze Mandela statue was commissioned by the City of Johannesburg as a gift to its sister city Ramallah(Palestine).
