This series of artworks formed part of my body of work that I made during my artist residency in Berlin 2009 funded by ‘p-art-ners Berlin-Windhoek’. I was heavily influenced by the stained sculptures adorning old european architecture with regards to mood and weathering. This was an attempt to make sense of dark emotions brought up by the end of a relationship and the failed promise of a new one.
